American Tragedy  Centennial Events Schedule 1906-2006
Ongoing	The Town of Webb Historical Association features a year-long exhibition "A 1906 Tragedy in Big Moose" with boats, clothing and other artifacts associated with the case. Their newspaper and photo collections are especially interesting. Also on display is a tennis racket from George Ward's house that is probably not the one that was used at the trial.
Ongoing	Herkimer County Historical Society's special display on the Gillette Case. Historical Society Muscum, North Main Street. The best collection of Gillette artifacts on display anywhere.
Aug. 26	Bus trip to South Otselic and Cortland, N.Y. Sponsored by the Herkimer County Historical Society.
Sept. 16	"An American Tragedy" the 1931 film with Phillips Homes and Sylvia Sidney,  2 p.m. Guernsey Library, Norwich. Contact Wilma Felton-Gray.
Sept. 17	Craig Brandon will present a multi-media slide show, including video and audio clips at the Chenango Historical Society Museum in Norwich, N.Y.   2 p.m.
Nov. 3, 4, 5 & 9, 10,11	The Ilion Little Theater will perform Glenn Allen Smith's play Chester and Grace at the Stable Theater in Ilion
